Tom Hoblyn
Tom trained at The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew and set up Thomas Hoblyn Garden Design in 2002. His commissions are geographically diverse and varied. Current projects include the regeneration of one of Devon’s most important country estates, the restoration of the former Hunting Lodge of Edward and Mrs Simpson, and a community project to restore the gardens for a Hindu temple in West Bengal. Thomas has been designing award-winning show gardens since 2005. Tom will be judging the Student Designer Award.

Andy Sturgeon
Andy is a landscape and garden designer with a reputation for creating dynamic external spaces for private, commercial and international clients. Winner of numerous awards including five Gold medals & Best in Show at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, Andy
blends strong design, natural materials and innovative planting to create bold, timeless and architectural landscapes. As a published author, journalist and broadcaster, he is an active commentator in the sector. Andy will be
judging the Student Designer Award.

Sarah Eberle
Sarah is a landscape architect and
garden designer with 30 years’ experience; she is known as a ‘fusion style’ designer, producing work of an eclectic mix. Sarah is also a regular designer on the RHS garden shows circuit and has nine RHS Gold medals including Best in Show Chelsea 2007. Sarah works from her home in Hampshire. Sarah will be judging the Student Designer Award.
Sally Storey
Sally, Design Director for John Cullen, developed her passion for lighting while training as an architect. Considered one of the UK’s leading lighting experts, Sally spends much of her time travelling worldwide to design lighting schemes. Sally has written three very successful books on the subject of lighting and often contributes to national and international press. Sally will be judging the Garden Lighting Award.
Elizabeth Banks
Elizabeth was elected RHS President in July 2010 and has been a Member of Council since 2007. She worked at Land Use Consultants before setting up Elizabeth Banks Associates. In 2011, Elizabeth was made a Fellow of the Institute of Horticulture and awarded Honorary Doctorates from Greenwich
and Worcester Universities. Elizabeth
manages the Hergest Estate with her husband Lawrence. Elizabeth will be judging the planting and sustainability categories.
